It's been a very busy month for me. Finishing the fall collection for the runway show, being at a runway show (for those of you who've never been behind the catwalk it's a whirlwind!), being interviewed about the runway show (nervous!), getting my web presence together with the help of my amazing team (Miriam, Dianna, Tamera, and Jim, I cannot thank you enough), oh and having a commissioned piece published in a book!
I had the distinct pleasure of designing the Frida Kahlo cookie box at the request of the delightful Caitlin Freeman a few years back. I had no idea it would be featured in her book Modern Art Desserts and was sooo excited to find a copy waiting for me at work one morning. Luckily there were no customers around to witness my hopping up and down like a mad woman when I realized my piece was included and read the sweet note from Caitlin.

The book is Amazing! Get it for the art nerd in your life. Get it for the dessert nerd in your life. As an art and dessert nerd I can tell you, you will not be sorry. I'm so excited to start cooking my way through it!
